A young woman remains in a critical condition at Waterford Regional Hospital after she fell into a coma at a house in Doyle Street on Saturday night.
Gardai are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and are understood to have seized a quantity of drugs during a search of the property.
The woman, thought to be in her late 20s and originally from New Ross, had recently moved to the city. A number of people were present in the house at the time.
