TRAMORE can look forward to public realm upgrades in the New Year with Waterford City & County Council having published a notice regarding long sought after upgrades for the town.
These upgrades include new hard surfacing, stone paving, upgraded lighting, new street furniture and landscaping and relate to streets including Main Street, the Square, Broad Street, Strand Street, Market Street and Market Yard.
The plans also include changes to traffic circulation, the introduction of shared space areas, conversion from two way to one way traffic flows, civil works and realignment on part or all of the following streets: Main Street, The Square, Broad Street, Strand Street, Market Street, little Market Street and Market Yard.
Plans for the proposed development are available for inspection or purchase at fee at Waterford City & County Council Offices on bailey’s New Street until February 5th and are also available at the Civic Offices in Dungarvan.
