For the third year in a row, the minors of Waterford have progressed to Croke Park thanks to a first Hurling Championship win over Kilkenny at this grade since 1948.
Amidst rapturous scenes at Walsh Park on Saturday evening last, Liam O’Connor’s men put the Munster Final well and truly out of the system with a fully deserved win over the reigning All-Ireland champions.
