This was an extraordinary win by the Villa Under-14 team at Connors Park on Saturday afternoon. They took the lead, but then found themselves 3-1 behind at one stage before fighting back to secure a famous triumph.
Two goals in the last few minutes from Aaron O’Connor secured an incredible result for the Waterford club against one of the great schoolboy clubs in Ireland. It came as no surprise that the Villa players were applauded off the pitch after snatching victory from the jaws of defeat.
