It was a case of top versus bottom in this game played at St Martin’s Park on Sunday: an incredible 25 points separated the clubs prior to kick off. Tramore, who are been chased by Waterford Crystal and Carrick United for the league title, knew they would get nothing easy against a Johnville side who are losing their grip on their long-held Premier League status – and they didn’t.
The hosts were strong at the back and busy in midfield, but lacked penetration in the final third of the pitch.
