Two teams with completely different aspirations met at the Williamstown Complex on Sunday morning. DLS went into the contest bottom of the league table with 8 points from 13 games played and were battling to avoid the drop down to Division 1B.
Piltown, on the other hand, had secured 26 points from their quota of 13 games and knew that if they took the full points from this contest they would close the gap to just three on the leaders Grannagh who had played one game extra.
