e2s1a The four star Waterford Castle Hotel and golf club will continue to trade following a  High Court hearing last week. A subsidiary of NAMA had petitioned the court to  appoint Aiden Murphy as provisional liquidator. Trading is to continue at the  hotel, golf course and lodges, vouchers if in date will be honoured and bookings  taken will also be carried out. 80 jobs was the total number of employees full and  part time. A hearing took place last week before Justice Laffoy. There was a debt of  33 million euro to two companies Newgold Limited and Cendant Ltd. The NAMA  debt is owed under guarantees n mortgage agreements entered into between the  companies and AIB in 2007, the court heard. The companies directors are John Simpson , Mark Ricketts,  Fergus Appelbe and Mark O Driscoll. The matter is due to come before the High Court  again on July 31st The provisional liquidator has been appointed to ensure that good will and trade with weddings, summer holidays and golf outings to be honoured.
