Taoiseach Enda Kenny has committed to retaining Waterford Regional Hospital’s current suite of services, including invasive cardiology, trauma and oncology services and the same patient referral basis it currently has, regardless of which hospital group it comes under.
Responding to Independent TD John Halligan during Leaders’ Questions last week, the Taoiseach confirmed that the Health Minister would bring the Higgins Report to Cabinet next week.
