Dermot Power, a local historian from Waterford, is launching his latest book ‘The Street Where you Live’ at the Granville Hotel, Waterford, this coming Thursday, 13 November at 7.30 p.m.
The new 500 page book looks at the history and origin of Waterford street names and contains photographs, as well as being fully referenced and a 25 page bibliography to show where all of the information came from.
Dermot’s first book was published by The Munster Express in 1992.
