While acknowledging that it could not operate its regular ‘370’ service in South Wexford throughout the ‘big freeze, Bus Éireann has rejected claims that they are neglecting the route.
Installed as a replacement for the withdrawn Waterford/Rosslare rail service, the 370 operates from Wexford to Waterford via New Ross, with several stops in South Wexford built into its timetable.
“Over the past two weeks the route normally taken by the 370 service was impassable, to both cars and buses,” reads their statement.
