A Waterford Area Partnership (WAP) programme catering for former prisoners has won a special social entrepreneur award, having also won support from the Arthur Guinness Fund.
Over the past three years, of the 108 people who have signed up to the ‘U-Casadh’ programme, over 90 per cent of its participants, primarily from Waterford, have completed the scheme.
