The residents of the Crompan housing development in Dungarvan were living in fear of a back-up of sewerage on their unfinished estate, a meeting of Waterford County Council heard in Dungravan, last week.
Labour’s Billy Kyne said the Council should urgently engage with the Crompan developer with a view to re-connecting the sewerage pumping system. The pumps were turned off when an ESB bill was unpaid by the developer. One particular family was very concerned that there was a danger of a build-up of sewerage in the system.
