Eighteen housing estates in South Kilkenny have remained unfinished since the crash of the construction industry, a meeting of the Piltown Electoral Area Committee was told in Newrath.
Executive Officer, Ann Marie Walsh, said a total of 76 housing estates were unfinished in Co Kilkenny. There were no developers on any of the 78 sites inspected by the Council but some houses were finished and vacant.
