Sharks“Something great is coming,” so sings Tony (Michael Raggett) in ‘West Side Story’, which runs at the Strand Theatre from Saturday, March 2nd through to Saturday, March 9th. “This is the Society’s 100th show. It’s a real landmark, one that only comes around once and it’s an honour to be a part of it. We’ve all got a lot of hard work ahead of us, but we’ll have our fun as well.” And how true those words ring, over four months later, in which so much hard work has been put in and a hell of a lot of fun had been had. Rehearsing for ‘West Side Story’ has been an absolute blast, and the fruits of this Society’s collective labour will be put on show for eight pending musical nights.
