The Bristol Hippodrome is a big old style theatre with stalls, balcony and gods and it can seat just under 2,000 people. It fronts onto the centre of Bristol on Broad Quay with three cascade type fountains with about fifty jets in each unit as well as cascade steps leading down to the harbour.
As pink is an important colour in Legally Blonde – The Musical the jets were spewing out pink coloured water during the Harbour Festival with local wags and children adding washing up liquid to create masses of foam adding to the party atmosphere.
