Bruce Springsteen has received many accolades over the years but, perhaps, one of the best tributes was paid this week by a longtime, Kilkenny-based fan who has seen ‘The Boss’ in concert over 30 times since first hearing him in Slane in 1985.
She said Springsteen was genuinely the real deal and the best compliment she could pay him was to describe him as “the Henry Shefflin of Rock’n’Roll”.
