A Wexford woman ended up with a court fine for failing to have a current tax disc displayed on her vehicle.
Joan Connors (41) with an address at Templenacroha, Clonroche, Enniscorthy, Co.Wexford was fined €250 by Judge Miriam Walsh at a recent sitting of Waterford District Court, for failing to pay a fixed charge penalty notice, contrary to sections 73 and 76 of the Finance Act, 1976, which was issued after Gardaí observed her vehicle without a current tax disc at Canada Street, Waterford, on 24 April 2025.
Handing down the fine, Judge Walsh noted the accused’s absence from court.
