Gardaí are currently investigating the circumstances of an assault that occurred in Tramore on the night of Monday 3 November, last.
After Gardaí were called to attend the scene of the incident at approximately 11.30pm last Monday night, a man in his 30s was brought to University Hospital Waterford (UHW) for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Another man aged in his 30s was arrested and brought to Tramore Garda Station where he was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
Following the incident, a Garda Spokesperson told The Munster Express: “Investigations are ongoing”.
