VILLAGERS in Dunmore East are hoping to see increased leisure craft activity in the area this summer.
Swing moorings and a limited amount of pontoon berths will be available in the fishing harbour. However these will be strictly subject to availability, according to the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine.
Rene Wubben of the Waterford Harbour Sailing Club in Dunmore East said he welcomed the approach currently being taken towards accommodating visiting yachts.
