The HSE’s attitude to vulnerable individuals came under fire this week, when a 62-year old disabled woman described the replacement of her home help and carer with agency staff without consultation as ‘deplorable and completely unacceptable’.
Former nurse Linda McComas, who resides at Lady Lane House in the city, said it’s ‘criminal’ that the HSE can simply remove her existing home help and carer and replace them with ‘whoever they choose to send in the door’.
