After two years of modest improvement, one of Waterford’s best-known property selling agents has predicted that 2013 will be ‘a good year on the local property front’.In his 2012 property review, John Rohan of Sherry FitzGerald struck a confident note, perhaps a note one would readily expect given his brief. But Mr Rohan believes he and his colleagues in the sector will kick off this year with “the best foot forward”.
“We’ll be travelling to London next month, along with other offices of Sherry FitzGerald Nationwide to take part in the largest Irish property exhibition to ever hit the British capital,” he said.“We are making this investment in an attempt to generate fresh enquiries and provide a special service not only to our clients but to the many Irish people in England considering returning home. “I firmly believe that 2013 will be a good year for the property market and expect it to be a year-on-year improvement, as we have found for the last two years.”
So someone who works in property is looking forward to over-priced housing again. These guys are just as responsible as the banksters for the Celtic Tiger madness. I firmly believe that 2018 may be a good year for property.
