The source of a nasty text message sent to Deise hurling boss Davy Fitzgerald has been identified by the County Board.
A text message received by Waterford hurling manager Davy Fitzgerald in the wake of the Munster Hurling Final defeat to Tipperary did not come from a city-based football club.
“One particular football club in the city sent me a text message which wasn’t too nice,” said Fitzgerald following the Deise’s All-Ireland quarter-final win over Galway.
