A PREMIERE of documentaries was screened at Waterford Gallery of Art in early May.
There were a range of documentaries on various subjects, which included illegal drug use in Waterford; Ukrainians adjusting to life in Ireland; the animation world in Ireland and sex education in Ireland.
These documentaries were created by college students at Waterford College of Further Education. Many months of hard work that went into these documentaries.
Amongst the guests at the premiere were family and friends, as well as other dignitaries.
The Principal and Head of the Media Department, Michelle Daly, spoke at the premiere and praised the students’ work and all the time and effort put into the making of the documentaries. Ms. Daly added that she enjoyed teaching the students over the past year.
