SP4Pic1 An Rinn 1-10
Clashmore 0-08
An Rinn qualified for their first ever SFC semi-final thanks to a five-point win over  Clashmore in the second Quarter-Final that was played at Fraher Field on Saturday  evening last.
The first half of this game proved to be a very lively affair with never more than a kick of the ball between the two sides.
An Rinn opened brightly with a Liam O Lonáin point. Shortly afterwards Clashmore were dealt a blow when Brian O’Halloran was forced off with an injury but his replacement Donal O’Connor made a quick impact levelling matters on five minutes.
Darren Foley then edged Clashmore in front, but An Rinn kicked the next three scores from Donie Breathnach, his older brother Billí and then Donie struck again to give the men from the Gaeltacht a 0-4 to 0-2 advantage with 12 minutes played.
Clashmore however showed that what An Rinn could do at one end they could do equally as well at the other as they kicked three points in succession.
