Stradbally 3-17 St Saviours 1-10
Defending champions Stradbally have sprung out of the blocks in this year’s Senior Football Championship in a manner which even puts some of their previous title-winning campaigns decidedly in the shade.
Adding 3-17 in their win over St Saviours on Saturday evening last to the 3-16 they racked up against Gaultier in Round One, it’s fair to say that the Conway Cup holders are in decidedly rude health. And what a marker they’re laying down to those keen to usurp them as the county’s top side.
