This fourth round game in the County Senior Football Championship at Fraher Field on Sunday afternoon last was every bit as one-sided as the scoreline suggests. Ballinacourty got off to a flying start as Mark Gorman and the very impressive Patrick Hurney hit early points to give them an early three point to no score lead with five minutes on the clock. But to Ballinameela’s credit, they fought back and by the ninth minute were on level terms as Jason Morrissey, Michael Kiely and John Stack all kicked points. However, once Ballinacourty struck for the first of their goals on thirteen minutes there was only going to be one outcome to this game.
