Kilrossanty made light work of an injury-depleted St Saviours at a blustery Walsh Park on Sunday last to get their County Senior Football Championship campaign off to a winning start.
John Kiely’s side were in control throughout the hour, while Saviours could thank goalkeeper Paul Houlihan for keeping the scoreline somewhat respectable thanks to two excellent saves which denied the Comeragh-siders a couple of certain goals.
