Uisce Éireann crews are working to restore normal water supply to homes and businesses in Tramore, following a significant burst.

Water supply disruptions are likely to impact customers on Queen's Street and surrounding areas as a result of the burst.

Every effort is being made to complete this repair work as quickly as possible. Repairs are expected to be complete by Wednesday afternoon, 6 August.

Updates will be provided as repairs progress.

Maura Phelan, Uisce Éireann Water Operations Manager, thanked affected customers for their cooperation during these repair works. “We understand how disruptive unplanned outages are, and we regret the inconvenience caused. We want to thank impacted customers for their patience while we work to restore the water supply as quickly as possible, though the repairs are proving to be quite complex."

To ensure the safety of the crews carrying out the repairs to the burst and the safety of the public, traffic management will be in place and will be clearly signposted.
