A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the seizure of €24,000 worth of cannabis plants at a house in the city last week.
As a result of ongoing surveillance, Gardaí executed a search warrant at a house at Ardleigh, Bracken Grove last Friday. They discovered 30 cannabis plants at various stages of growth in the attic of the house.
The man was arrested and detained at Waterford Garda Station. He was later released with a file now to be forward to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
