Tramore will travel to Cavan for the next round of the FAI Junior Cup as a result of their deserved two goals to nil victory over cup specialists Waterford Crystal at a bitterly cold Graun Park on Sunday afternoon last.
The seaside outfit got the better of Crystal thanks to goals from Robbie Phelan and Paul McCarthy, the former Waterford United player.
It was the third time this season that these two sides have gone head to head and with Crystal winning the last meeting of the two clubs in the Munster Junior cup, Tramore gained sweet revenge that has set up a fifth round meeting with Cavan Town.
