The Munster GAA Council contributed a total of €365,776 to the Waterford County Board during 2010. This amounts for less than 10 per cent of the total monies awarded to the six county boards in the province over the past 12 months.
However, it’s worth noting that the percentage of the monies awarded to each club in the province for works undertaken at their respective grounds was exactly the same, coming in at 10.9 per cent.
So if a club spent €50,000, a grant of just over €5,000 was presented by the Munster Council, with just over €10,000 awarded for works totaling €100,000, etc.
