Hundreds of people piled into Graun Park on Friday last as Tramore celebrated their Avivia-FAI Club of the Year award. The sun shone brightly as young and old enjoyed the food and soft drinks which were plentiful. Avivia brought their impressive 3D Experience  Truck and the young people of the area loved every minute of the unique and astonishing new way of experiencing football.
In many ways, the day was about celebrating the new dawn at the Tramore club, and to remember the loyal club men who have departed this earth. Tramore chairman John Power was needless to say emotional when he spoke under the beautiful sun which graced this wonderful occasion. “The past few weeks have been incredible for the club. Since we were informed in Ennis last month that we were Club of the Year, everyone has been on a high. We began by raffling a bike every month many years ago. We then started raffling cars before we eventually raffled a house. That is the way this club has grown over the years”.
