Visiting restrictions at Waterford Regional Hospital (WRH) were largely lifted on Wednesday last – however, restrictions remain in place on Medical 3 and are subject to a daily review.
But given the prevalence of the winter vomiting bug, hospital management are advising visitors to adhere to the official visiting hours of 2-4pm and 6.30-8.30pm.
“Patients may have two visitors at any one time during visiting hours and visits should not last longer than 20 minutes,” said a Health Service Executive (HSE) spokesperson.
Well of course the ban was lifted how else will they make there money. after all if nobody goes out the car park will be empty.
