Waterford 1-12;    CIT 0-11

Waterford are through to the semi-final of the Waterford Crystal Cup following an unconvincing win over CIT at Walsh Park last Sunday.

In that semi-final, Waterford will play a resurgent Clare side who enjoyed an eight point win over LIT.

It was a very experimental Waterford side that started this game with Christy Ryan, Darragh Fives and Gavin Crotty all making their first competitive starts for the Waterford senior team.

With the Fitzgibbon Cup kicking off this week, CIT had a lot more preparatory work done than Waterford which showed in the first half with the students looking a lot sharper than their Deise counterparts.
