Council outdoor and engineer workers in the Tramore area can look forward to a new base, following a planning application by the Council to construct a new depot at Riverstown.
This will replace the current depot at Tank Field. The new building will consist of a two-storey building accommodating offices, meeting rooms, a canteen, changing facilities and stores. Welcoming the plans, Cllr Pat Fitzgerald (SF) said a lot of outdoor staff were working in poor conditions.
