This week, Audi Ireland officially announced the opening of Audi Waterford as the new authorised Audi dealer for the South East region. The new dealership will be owned and operated by Boland and Rice who have committed to investing €5 million in the facility. The dealership will create 30 new jobs in the Waterford region.

The Waterford dealership is major part of a five year investment plan by Audi in Ireland which highlights the company’s drive to become the number one prestige car brand in Ireland by 2015. Audi is undertaking a comprehensive restructuring of their franchise retail network with a collective investment of €80 million over the next three years, resulting in a nationwide network of 14 dedicated full-time dealerships increasing Audi staff numbers at retail to over 350.
