It’s all go on the political front isn’t it? As the government steps down and the election posters go up the next three weeks will see wall to wall coverage of the imminent battle. Prime the Sky box for the soaps because politicians, some of whom you may have mistakenly thought had passed on to the next life, will suddenly turn up on your doorstep in the middle of Coronation Street, beaming broadly while proffering a glossy brochure of their achievements to date and of course their good intentions for the future.
There is a dilemma as to whether you should close the curtains and pretend you’re not home or engage in conversation and see what they have to say. If you choose the latter, watch the body language particularly and listen carefully to how they answer the questions as you will be amazed at what you can extract from just a few moments.
