Two women taken prematurely from their families have been mourned by their loved ones in Waterford city centre in recent days.
Neither Imelda Keenan, who was last seen on William Street on January 3rd 1994 or Meg Walsh, whose remains were retrieved from the River Suir on October 16th 2006 a fortnight after she disappeared, shall be forgotten.
Speaking to The Munster Express, brothers of both women spoke of their ongoing heartbreak regarding the tragedy that befell Meg and Imelda.
“I’ve been asked how I’ve coped since Meg was taken from us hundreds upon hundreds of times,” said Jamesie Walsh, who visited Waterford last weekend to mark his sister’s 40th birthday.
